BarnAllen Awarded DHS Records Management Contract

BarnAllen awarded multi-year contract to provide Records Management support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Patrol.  BarnAllen’s  Records Managers will act as custodians of secured file rooms. Maintain keys to file room and permits only limited authorized entries of persons.  The contract staff will attend and participate in meetings sponsored by the CPB.  BarnAllen staff will also perform inventory, file check-in/out, file tracking, document control and all file room management activities.

BarnAllen Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

BarnAllen Technologies, Inc. announced today that the company has successfully achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification. To become ISO 9001:2008 certified, BarnAllen had to fulfill requirements outlined by the International Standardization Organization (ISO). Specifically, ISO 9001:2008 requires an organization to demonstrate a quality management system with the ability to consistently provide services that meets customer as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.

BarnAllen Awarded 3-year Digitization Contract to Support the U.S. Mint

BarnAllen has teamed with Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) to provide digital archiving and library support services to the U.S. Mint. BarnAllen organizes materials of historical importance in the United States Mint’s possession and as designated by the Historian’s Office into physical files, and scans and preserves their contents digitally. Digital files are entered into the Documentum database.  BarnAllen creates and inserts metadata to the digital files allowing physical and digital cross-reference functionality.
